Requirements

  • Proof of German language, minimum C1
  • Transcript of records
  • You must be enrolled full-time at your home university
  • You must have studied in the fields of business and economics, computer sciences or engineering for at least one year

Tuition Fees

If there is no ERASMUS partnership with your home university or any other contractual agreement, the tuition fees for a semester abroad at NORDAKADEMIE are € 2,500.

Once you have been accepted

NORDAKADEMIE offers on-campus student accommodation with a total of 60 single rooms. All rooms have an ensuite shower and WiFi, and are furnished with a bed, desk, bedside table and wardrobe. There are washing and drying facilities as well as a shared kitchen on each floor. Room availability is limited, thus cannot be guaranteed.

Average rent per room per semester on-campus accommodation: €1,300

Alternatively, you can rent private accommodation off-campus in the local area.

Arriving at NORDAKADEMIE

Our campus in Elmshorn maintains an active student life. Campus life and surroundings – What can you expect from your stay at NORDAKADEMIE?

Many students spend the time between lectures in the lounge, where comfortable furniture, table soccer and pool tables. The beautiful green campus is surrounded by trees and has a basketball court. You can enjoy lunch at our canteen and meet up with your fellow students there. Students have 24/7 access to computer and study rooms and can use the library with on-site sources and access to online research databases.
Elmshorn itself has about 50,000 inhabitants. The train to Hamburg takes 30 minutes, allowing you spend time at Germany´s second largest city. Hamburg has a lot to offer, fun fact Hamburg has more bridges than Venice and is very famous for its nightlife as well as the red-light district. More info about Hamburg.
