What is the difference between a dual study program and a part-time study program?
A dual study program is in cooperation with a practice partner, who is also a contractual partner and where the students perform the pracitcal part of their education. There is close coordination between the theory and practical periods. In part-time studies, there is no contractual relationship between the university and the employer. The study program is designed in such a way that it is compatible with a full-time professional activity.

Dual study program: How is theory and practice balanced?
Practical phases in the company (13 weeks per term) and the theoretical part at NORDAKADEMIE (10 weeks per term) alternate in blocks. The bachelor's thesis is based on a business related topic and takes 2 months to complete.
In the first semesters, students pass through the most important departments of their training company. Increasingly independent activities and longer-lasting collaboration in selected specialist departments predominate in the later semesters. With advanced training in the company it has proven to be most effective to involve the students in projects or to entrust them with substitutions and thus to give them increasing responsibility.
Why does the NORDAKADEMIE model favor a seven-semester study and training period? Other dual Bachelor's degree programs only run for six semesters.
