Studying the Focus on Data Analytics & AI - what does that mean?

Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence deals with the analysis of complex data to identify patterns, trends, and correlations that support informed decision-making. Artificial intelligence can be used to automate or support tasks that previously could only be solved by human intelligence. It plays a crucial role in optimizing business processes, increasing efficiency, and developing new innovations and business models.

In the fourth semester, the focus is on the applications of Data Analytics. Students learn about the different forms of data analysis, when they can be used in various areas, and how analysis results can be evaluated.

In the subsequent fifth semester, the basics of Machine Learning are covered, a core component of artificial intelligence, enabling (partially) automated decisions.

In the sixth semester, the course delves deeper into selected aspects of Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, giving students an in-depth understanding of these advanced technologies.

Finally, in the seventh semester, a Data Analytics project is carried out, where students can apply their acquired knowledge in practice and demonstrate their skills in real-world application scenarios.
