Studying Finance & Accounting - what does it mean?
Finance & Accounting deals with managing a company's finances and the systematic recording, analysis, and reporting of financial transactions. The goal is to create a solid foundation for financial decisions that support liquidity, investments, and the company's long-term growth.
In the fourth semester, the focus is on the elementary foundations of international accounting, where students learn how global financial markets function and the role of international accounting in this process.
In the following fifth semester, students deepen their knowledge in the area of Financial Business Planning, engaging with complex financial strategies and planning techniques.
The sixth semester is dedicated to selected aspects of finance and accounting, with a special emphasis on the analysis and evaluation of financial information.
The seventh semester completes the education with a focus on Performance Measurement, where students learn how to measure and evaluate a company's performance to assess its financial health and efficiency.
Additionally, students specializing in this area can write their bachelor's thesis in Finance & Accounting.
